Hello, my name is Beula, and I am from Johannesburg. My passion is teaching and learning. I have an Honors degree in Psychology, a degree in Social sciences, a PGCE in Education and a TEFL certificate. I have 2 years experience teaching in a classroom and 3 years of online tutoring ,I was a volunteer teacher for a year (taught various subjects, assisted teachers with classroom management) . The subjects that I was teaching are; English and Life Orientation.
I analyze my students needs and a suitable teaching method to help them on their learning journey. I use the direct method,TPR (Total Physical Response) and a learner-centred approach. I have experience working with young and senior learners.
I am able to assist you with vocabulary expansion, paragraph sequencing, grammar, conversation, reading & pronunciation and free talk . For adults speaking,reading and writing and( engaging and stimulating conversations).
I enjoy learning about cultures and keeping up to date with news around the world. My interest are music,cooking, baking and reading books.
