Hello! I’m Colin, and I’m excited to be your English teacher.
As well as being a fully qualified english teacher , I'm also an expedition and adventure artist and workshop leader too.
I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel the world, exploring different cultures, landscapes, and ways of life. This passion for discovery has deeply influenced my teaching style, where I aim to bring the same sense of wonder, creativity, and curiosity to each lesson.

With over four years of experience as an art workshop tutor, I’ve guided everyone from children to adults, including individuals with special needs, in discovering their creative voice through art and storytelling.
As a published author and illustrator I love incorporating storytelling into my lessons, using art as a way to make language learning more vivid and engaging. Whether it’s describing a scene from a painting or crafting a story from scratch, I believe in the power of imagination to help students connect with the English language in a fun, meaningful way.

My classes are all about creating a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel free to express yourself, make mistakes, and learn at your own pace. I’m here to help you build your confidence, expand your vocabulary, and develop your skills, whether you’re just starting your English journey or looking to refine your artistic abilities. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit your unique needs and goals. Plus, as someone who has navigated and adapted to many cultures, I’m flexible with scheduling and can accommodate various time zone differences too.
