Learning a new language can be demanding.
It takes time and money, and even if you spend time and money, it does not necessarily translate directly into linguistic ability. If you don’t use effective methods and study properly, it is very difficult to improve your language skills.
I understand that very well! As someone who has studied Japanese, I understand it painfully well!
This is why I want to provide a more efficient and enjoyable learning environment.
I have been teaching Korean in Tokyo for about 4 years. I have met many students and encountered many different thoughts and feelings. With the abundant experience I have accumulated through teaching, I would like to connect with many people and help them learn Korean!
For those of you who are thinking,
“but I can’t even read Hangul yet”!
You are more than welcome. Let’s enjoy the adventure of learning Korean from the very beginning!
For those who are thinking,
“I know a little grammar, but I can’t really speak Korean...“!
Why don’t you try to practice conversation by making full use of the grammar you have already learned?
For those who are thinking,
“I want to be able to write accurate Korean sentences”!
I actually make a living off by writing in South Korea! Why not work with me to practice writing?
In addition to these areas,
I can also tailor lessons to individual needs, so please feel free to contact me.
These are message from my Korean students!
Every time I read them, they bring me joy!
My kitty cat that I love so much.
I started learning to play the Korean harp, 가야금. It’s so much fun!
I was ed twice (undergraduate and graduate) as a Ministry of Education Scholar and studied in Japan for over 8 years.
In addition to teaching Japanese, I have used the language in a variety of settings, including interpreting for government agencies (Women’s Policy Development Institute, Korea Tourism Organization, etc.), translating papers (Korean to Japanese), organizing and interpreting art exhibitions, interpreting stage performances and writing press releases, as well as working for a cultural NPO in Tokyo, Japan for two and a half years.
I can customize my lessons to suit your individual needs, from beginner level Japanese to those who want to learn academic Japanese,
If you would like to communicate in Japanese, but you’re still finding it difficult or awkward to talk to native speakers, why not practice conversing in Japanese with me?
(I cannot accept interpretation-related lessons, as there can be limitations in online lesson formats.)
