My name is Despina, and I'm a professional English language teacher with 11 years of teaching experience. I am an enthusiastic and energetic educator, and I always try to find creative ways to motivate, inspire, and engage learners in English language learning.
I have lived in and taught English in many different countries, including Japan, Italy, Spain, and the U.K. I have experience teaching learners of all levels and ages.
Mainly, I have been teaching English for:
- daily conversation
- business
- children's classes (kindergarten - elementary)
- junior and high school classes
- Cambridge English exam preparation.
I am able to adjust the lesson according to YOUR needs, and I can assure you that you will develop all four skills in English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). Depending on the lesson, I will use different materials to help you build your skills.
Education:
- Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language
- Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature
- TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Module 1 from Cambridge Assessment.
Hobbies:
I love traveling in my spare time, and experiencing different cultures through food, cultural festivals, and communicating with the locals. I also love reading good books and taking long walks in nature.
Unfortunately, I'm not very good at sports :'( but I like trying with friends!
