Due to my schedule, I have temporarily stopped offering my 30-minute free talk lessons in English and Japanese. I am terribly sorry for not being able to make an announcement in advance.

I do have many students who book my counseling sessions to practice their English or Japanese skills. Of course, you are welcome to request my counseling sessions for conversation practice, so please feel free to send a lesson request.

Hello, I am Selina, and I work as a psychotherapist.

I have offered many consultation sessions from children to adults who have International/multicultural backgrounds, as well as parents who are raising children with such backgrounds.

⚫️ I can’t be myself.
⚫️ I feel like I’m trying too hard to fit in.
⚫️ I have a hard time fitting in to a group.
⚫️ I want to learn how to approach my child.


…And so on! I will listen with sincerity to anything you would like to share with me!


Of course, those who do not have international backgrounds are also welcome to join me for a session.
As I have lived as a minority, I may be able to sympathize with and assist you in some areas.


I also offer counseling for relationship-related issues,

↓↓Why I started counseling・・・

Ever since I was a child, I had a hard time being myself because I was different from everyone around me.

I felt uncomfortable at school, and always worried that I might not be accepted if I was myself...

I had the opportunity to study abroad, where I had the experience of being accepted as who I was by others, and as a result, I was able to change myself greatly.


After that, I decided that I wanted to help people with international backgrounds living in Japan who felt lonely or felt that they could not tell anyone about their feelings, so I studied for 3 years to become a psychotherapist.


I know from experience that each person has their own, various problems, but the best solution is to accept your feelings and existence.
I myself was able to overcome this by building on the experience of being accepted by many individuals.

It may be scary to face these alone and to accept yourself.
But with someone by your side, you can slowly work through it.
