Hello! I am Satoka, an online instructor.
After studying marimba at music college, I shifted to vocal music.
After studying abroad in Germany and returning to Japan, I worked as a junior high school teacher and now offer private lessons both in person and online.
My own musical activities are mainly singing, but due to my unique background, I am able to offer a variety of lessons.
♪ Piano
My piano lessons are designed for students from 3 years old to elderly, from people who are completely new to the piano, to intermediate level students.
For young children, we start by getting used to the high and low notes - up and down on the paper - left and right on the keyboard. While also comprehensively training their sense of pitch and rhythm, the goal is for them to be able to read music and express themselves in their own way, on their own.
I can also accommodate various other needs, such as those who have a blank, those who have a song they want to play, those who want to prevent their brain from aging, and those who want to prepare for a certification exam.
♪ Vocal Music
This is way of singing that does not require a microphone. When you think of vocal music, you might have a strong image of opera, but the charm of vocal music is that you can sing Japanese songs and other gems from various countries.
Do you wish to sing German songs, but can’t read German? If so, I can offer a pronunciation-centered course as well.
Lessons start with relaxing your body and conducting vocal exercises together. If you are a member of a choir group, you can also use my lesson as individual practice.
♪ Marimba
This instrument resembles a xylophone that has grown in size. Advanced players hold two sticks, called mallets, in each hand when playing.
Why not let this wooden instrument soothe you? You only need a small xylophone to get started. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
♪ Solfege • Musical Grammar
This course is designed to learn how to read music, improve your sense of pitch, and learn about tonality and chords. For those who are learning a musical instrument (especially children), I recommend combining the two courses to accelerate their understanding. Please feel free to consult with me if you would like to prepare for an examination, etc.
I look forward to meeting you!!
