Hello.
My name is YOROKO, and I have been a Korean language teacher for 20 years.
I am delighted to meet all of you on Cafetalk.
I have been teaching Korean for 9 years in Japan and 11 years in South Korea.
I have taught at university language halls (in South Korea), university undergraduate classes (in Japan), cultural centers, private lessons, group lessons, Korean lessons for expatriates, and many other places.

How did you become interested in the Korean language? Please tell me your learning needs first.^^I want to listen to your opinions and needs, in order to tailor my lessons to meet your needs. However, I do understand that there are some students who are interested in South Korea and the Korean language, but do not have a clear idea of their goals. So please don’t worry if this is your case.
If you do not have a clear goal in mind, I will assist you by suggesting a curriculum for you.
The content and schedule of my lessons can be changed at any time to meet your needs. We can also
start lessons in Korean from the very beginning.
Of course, I can offer lessons in Japanese, as well as lessons in Korean and Japanese simultaneously. (The ratio can also be decided.)
However, I do recommend students to not be afraid to start lessons in Korean from the very beginning. Please don’t worry, as we will proceed slowly using very easy Korean. (In fact, when you study Korean at a university in South Korea, you will be taught in Korean from the very beginning.)
You may not understand some Korean terms at first, but after a few months, I am sure that you will be able to start understanding Korean.
