Hello there!

My name is Esja (pronounced es-YA). I am from the United States. 

I graduated from university in 2021, and I majored in Middle Eastern Studies and Asian Studies. I can speak Japanese, Persian, and a little Mandarin Chinese. 

I currently teach English in Japan as an ALT. I had thought about moving back to the US, but I will start my next job as an English instructor in April.

I will be taking a course to earn my TEFL certification starting in January.

My hobbies include watching movies and listening to music. I like many different types of music, but I especially like metal, J-pop, and Persian pop.
