Hi everyone!
Nice to meet you! I'm Sophie. I'm a native English speaker living in Sydney, Australia. I can converse conversationally in French (I'm still learning!) and a tiny bit in Korean.
I really like to travel and learn about other cultures.
Teaching Background
I have completed a TELF certificate. I taught for 1 year in South Korea teaching mainly middle school aged and elementary school aged students. Since then, I've wanted to keep teaching! I've been teaching online for almost 1 year now (adults and elementary school aged students).
Teaching Style
I like to ensure that my students speak alot during class and encourage mistakes (because that is how we learn) and to be brave! As a language student myself, I know how hard and frustrating it can be. I hope to encourage you and help you in your journey.
I have irregular teaching times so please check out my other times available.
Outside of Teaching
I have a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology and a PhD. I work in my science job during the day.
