Greetings,
My name is Linda and I enjoy teaching Adults online- beginners to advanced.
Being able to speak and write in English is a very special and much needed skill in our global community.
I am certified in the following subjects: TEFL Level 5, ESL Business English, ESL Lesson Planning and ESL Grammar. I recently became a certified Examination Coach for IELTS, TOEFL and PTE (PEARSONS). I am able and willing to teach Business English and this would include the language used for presentations, meeting protocols, negotiation, HR issues, project management and specific technical vocabulary on request. I also have Legal and INCO terms experience. I am able to assist with preparing you for a interview. I will also proof read your presentations and ensure that your pronunciation is correct for the presentation.
My teaching method is flexible and I teach according the the student's requirements and goals. It also depends on whether the student is advanced or a beginner. I like to make the student comfortable by having fun whilst learning. I am patient and kind and like to encourage students with positive interaction. I ensure that the basics are in place and work up to more difficult work after an initial assessment.
My integrity is my most important personality trait, while being punctual and managing time comes a close second. I think criticallly and creatively. I like to set goals and stick to them, although one needs to be flexible too. Planning in every walk of life is also one of my personal guidelines.
I am a creative and have many hobbies mainly in crafts, baking, gardening and cooking. I do read and also watch YouTube. We have four dogs and a big white cat, and she rules the household. The saying "a cat and her slaves live here " describes the situation in our home. I also sit spoilt dogs who cannot be left alone. They also learn English whilst I am teaching you!
