Hello!
My name is Nasya and I am a teacher, counselor, dancer and visual artist. Currently I am traveling in South East Asia, but have just finished a one year contract teaching English in South korea.
I have been teaching kids and adults for over 10 years! Some countries students come from that I have taught are: India, England, Angola, South Korea, and China. I have even taught elderly students life skills for English speakers such as: Talking on the phone, ordering food in a restaurant, simple computer/cell phone skills, and online shopping. Having a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a Master’s degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy means I am passionate for learning about other people’s cultures and engaging with students' creative and critical thinking skills.
Teaching Style
I believe that each student has different learning styles. The needs of a 36 year old beginner are vastly different than those of a 17 year old advanced learner. I aim to gauge what each student needs efficiently to provide the best service for them. Learning a language should be fun! I provide my students a structured, yet engaging environment where they can thrive in their level with a mixture of vocabulary, grammar, and games and activities to consolidate their learning.
Every lesson I provide can be tailored to each student’s level and age.
Please feel free to book a sample lesson, I hope to hear from you soon!
