Everyone, Anyon Haseyo!
I am Kim Juhee.
In 2006, I lived abroad for the first time in my life when I studied at a Japanese language school in Mido, Japan!
I returned to Korea after I finished my studies a year later, and while I continued my university life, I've always wanted to live abroad again. So, I applied for the exchange program at Sendai Tohoku University and I was lucky to be able to live abroad for the second time in 2008. It was the best year in my life.
After I graduated from the university, I studied abroad in Taiwan to study Chinese. I went to a language school for 18 months, and I did a one-year working holiday working at a coffee shop and a trading company. Taiwan is like my second home, as people showed me a lot of love. During my 2.5 years in Taiwan, I've made a lot of unforgettable memories and I was healed by the kind Taiwanese people. It was a very precious experience.
My next stop after Taiwan was the Philippines. I studied English for 4 months and I went to Australia on working holiday. I had yet another wonderful year.
In 2015, I was able to go to Japan again. For 9 months, I worked at Harazuru hot spring inn and I was surrounded by nature. After that, I worked at a duty free shop where there were lots of Chinese people for 3.5 years.
I started living abroad from 2006 and it's still an on-going thing.
Although I'm in Korea now, I'm planning to go to Canada next.
When you travel overseas, tt doesn't matter where you go as long as you have a laptop and the Internet. I think Cafetalk is fascinating and spectacular because I can meet people from different countries. I'm grateful to my friend (that I met at Sendai Tohoku University) who told me about Cafetalk!
"Stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet."
I like this phrase.
Although you might not know this person at all, in fact we are all friends.
I think it is exciting to meet new people and I believe it's fate.
I want to cherish that bond with all of you, to share what we have, and to help each other become better.
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
In addition, I speak Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English, and Spanish. There are still many things I want to learn!
For those interested in learning a language, why don't you join me on this road to achieving our dreams?
SOÑADORA Juhee:)
