My name is Fred, I am 43 years old. I hold an advertising copywriting qualification, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication as well as a post graduate in Education.
I am a qualified ESL teacher with 10 years of relevant teaching experience in South Africa (6 years) and Taiwan (2 years).
I am married, I have two beautiful daughters and live in the Winelands of South Africa. My kids are both non-native English speakers and they give me incredible insights into teaching ESL (English as a second language) to non-natives-speakers!
I teach part time on/at Cafe Talk. My primary occupation is as a Marketing and Business Communication college lecturer.
I love English and I enjoy combining my love for English with my passion for marketing
My style is relaxed, yet structured and it is important to me that students enjoy themselves while they have lessons with me.
It believe that the secret to learning a new language starts with having a conversation in a relaxed, fun environment.
When you are happy and relaxed, you learn much better and a lot quicker!
