I'm Aimi Kikuchi and I'm an online English teacher (@66mFcpU45jiptyQ). (Please call me Aimi-sensei)
 
【Subjects I teach】
I mainly teach English to junior and senior high school students.
I also teach all subjects to elementary school students, all subjects to junior high school students, and Japanese and biology to senior high school students. Adults who want to brush up basic grammar for English conversations are welcome too!
 
【My lessons are recommended for these students】
・students who are not good at studying
・students who can't keep up with their classes
・students who want to develop a habit of doing homework
・students who want someone to help them with their homework
・students who want to prepare for periodical examinations at home
・students who want to enjoy learning English
 
【I constantly try to make the lessons fun and enjoyable】
"Fun and enjoyable lessons" can be a difficult goal in some cases. I'll show students my full support so even if students have different grades or motivation, everyone can feel satisfied and have fun in the lessons!
 
To achieve this, I've set up two main goals. I'll make sure the students are aware of them every class.
（１）Students will develop good study habits so they can study independently, develop students' initiatives
（２）First, I'll make sure the student understands everything clearly so they won't feel that they're not good at studying.
 
【Lesson example】(The titles are subject to change so please take the trial lesson first to make sure you're taking the right class.)
 
（１）Trial lessons
・The content of the lesson is designed based on each student's needs.
・Students can try it out in an actual lesson.
 
（２）One-off lessons
This is a one-off lesson that helps students prepare for Eiken interviews or in the case that they didn't understand certain content in class.
 
（３）Lesson packs
・This lesson pack consists of 4 ~ 12 classes and in the classes, we'll check the progress of each subject regularly and review everything before the periodical examinations.
・This lesson is conducted on a regular basis to help students develop a habit of learning at home.
・This pack includes activities such as phonics and English songs to help students learn basic English pronunciation.
 
（４）Lessons without Skype
In this lesson, I'll proofread and make corrections for your Eiken compositions or your short essays.
 
For those who are not comfortable showing their faces, please feel free to talk to me and we can discuss further.
 
This will be my third year working as a teacher. I taught English to junior and senior high school students at a private school. I understand the differences between schools and cram schools so I can offer guidance based on these experiences.
 
The reason I wanted to become a teacher on Cafetalk is because I've seen many students who have lost their motivation as they cannot keep up with their classes or students who hadn't developed the habit of studying at home but once they do, they would be able to pick things up quickly.
Honestly speaking, there's only so much school teachers and parents can do.
However, I chose Cafetalk because "I can save the students who I want to save".
 
My introduction became a little long but thank you for reading! For students or parents that are interested, please take the trial lesson pack first and you can experience the atmosphere and check the content of the lesson.
 
I hope students will be able to meet excellent teachers!
 
【A little about me】
・I was born in Niigata Prefecture and I grew up in a heavy snow-prone area.
・I went to university in Toyama Prefecture for four years and my daily routine included English, A cappella, and my part-time job.
・Currently, I'm a teacher at a private junior and senior high school. From April, you'll be able to take more lessons!
・Some feedback from my students include "She's strict but interesting" and "She's cordial and kind".
・My current dream is to start an herb garden in my backyard.
