こんにちは！Hola! Hello! My name is Pilar, ピラールです。 I love teaching and literature. I teach English from beginners to advanced in an easy and fun way.
Would you like to practice and learn English while exploring literature? Do you like J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit or Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales? Let’s explore these authors and many more together! You don’t need to be proficient in English. I’ll adapt the lessons to your needs.

I believe that MOTIVATION is the key to learning.
I have an MA in Literary Linguistics from the University of Nottingham, UK, an MA in Children’s Literature from the University of Roehampton, UK, and a Certificate of Higher Education in English Literature from the University of Oxford. I have worked as an ESL, Spanish and Literture teacher, and also as an author of ESL textbooks for more than 20 years.
I have also studied Japanese since 2007 and have been to Japan twice. I really enjoy Japanese children’s literature and culture, and I have taught workshops on haiku and different aspects of Japanese culture.
