Hello, my name is ANA.! I'm from the PHILIPPINES.

 

I would like to share with you about me:

•           I have 3 years teaching experience at a large Online English teaching company in Japan. I can teach English as a Second Language to students who wants to improve their speaking skills.

•           I’ve been teaching English as a Second Language from young to adult in various settings. I would love to share my knowledge with the learners in this platform.

•           I have finished my Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English and have completed my Master's degree in Education Major in English as well. My experience, skills, and passion for teaching makes me an ideal part of the teaching English organization

•           My hobbies include reading, writing, singing, and sometimes watching movies. I enjoy doing creative things like making lesson plans and presentations.

•           I love studying and travelling. What I want is to share my knowledge to everyone and travel to treat myself for my hard work.

•           I studied Japanese for me to be able to guide my students in learning English. I know it is not that easy to be better using other languages. I want to be your guide to make you feel relaxed and confident to utilize English anytime. Let’s shift our mindset for us to understand that there are actually no MISTAKES, only LESSONS and LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES that we could use to develop more.

 

What will you learn in my class?

 

My teaching-related areas include General English Conversation, Business English Conversation, and Free conversational English in different levels.

 

At the end of the lesson, my students will be able to improve their:

 

1.     Speaking (formal/informal)

2.     Listening (interpret messages to communicate with others)

3.     Reading (for deriving meaning and self-development)

4.     Viewing (perceive the meaning through visual images)

5.     Writing (in-depth transfer of ideas through readable form)

6.     Vocabulary (tool for acquiring knowledge and communication)

7.     Grammar (express your ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively)

 

How I teach my students:

•      I'm very friendly and easy to talk with. I am passionate about teaching that I want my students to learn by making it fun and meaningful.

•      We will be using English at all time that would help you to be fluent. If there are parts that you don’t understand I could explain it to you in English since I do understand conversational Japanese.

•      We will point out/identify some corrections needed in the middle of our discussions.

•      We will be using activities to practice what you have learned from the lesson.
