Hi there! My name is Lynie Ilanan, from the Philippines. I studied Business Administration major in Marketing Management.
I used to work in two major industries, business and education. I worked in sales companies for more than 3 years. And I have been working as an ESL teacher online for more than 7 years.
One thing that I am passionate about is talking. I love meeting and speaking to different people from various cultures and places. I love to share my learnings and experiences and I believe this is one of the reasons I love teaching. I am always excited to impart my knowledge to every student and to see them progress and grow and it is truly rewarding. Working in the ESL industry helps me to become a better person because I learned to be patient, I learned to manage my time well and developed skills needed for the job. I helped some students pass their IELTS exam and job and immigration interviews. I also have a certificate in TEFL. I am capable of teaching Kids English, Classic English, Business English, Travel and Daily English and Free Talk lessons.
In terms of hobbies and interests, I like traveling. I’ve been to different places here in the Philippines. I like spending my time with my family and friends. I like eating out with them, watching movies and playing some games.
My main goal is to succeed but I believe that in every achievement there is always an opportunity to learn. I believe that with my inculcated learning, I can give my best here as a teacher. See you in my class!
