Hello everyone! I am tutor monami.
There are many reasons for people to start practicing ballet, but I would like you to feel the joy of dancing without worrying about your age or gender.
Since ballet movements involve physical movements that are not familiar to us in our daily lives, you may feel awkward or even struggle to dance well when you first start practicing, but the key to improving is to continue practicing while feeling “I love ballet! I enjoy dancing!”
I myself faced many challenges from an early age about my physique and improving my techniques, but despite them, I always looked forward to my lessons.
Even as a child, I remember feeling very happy and somewhat proud when I saw my own growth during my lessons and recitals.
I would like everyone to experience the surprise, joy, and excitement of that moment, so I aim to bring as much awareness and learning for my students to take home with them from each lesson.
I look forward to meeting you in my lessons!!
 
Won first prize in the junior division of the Ryukyu Shimpo International Ballet Competition at the age of 17. Won first prize in the group division.
Performed as a member of the Okinawa Branch in the “National Joint Ballet Evening” organized by the Japan Ballet Association at the age of 18.
Won first prize in the senior division of the Ryukyu Shimpo International Ballet Competition at the age of 19.
