A warm hello to EVERYONE! Glad to meet you!
I'm RoAnne. I’m a graduate of Bachelor in Elementary Education and I graduated in 2011. I am a licensed teacher and have obtained my TESOL certification in 2017. I have been in the field of ESL teaching (both online and face-to-face) for almost a decade now and I have had the opportunity to work with students of different ages and nationalities; Japanese, Koreans, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Mongolians, and Spanish in both one-on-one and group classes.
I teach in a fun way with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere because I believe effective learning takes place when students are having fun and at ease. I'm here to guide and help you build your confidence in expressing yourself in English. My years of experience in teaching diverse students before has taught me to be flexible enough to match my way of teaching to your English level. Patience and flexibility to meet your needs are two of my greatest weapons in my classes. So, come and let's explore the world of English together.
As for my interests, I love nature so I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking mountains, swimming at the beach, camping and having a picnic with my loved ones. I also love listening to music and watching educational video clips.
