Hi, my name is Callum. Thank you for visiting my profile! I am twenty-five years old and I am originally from Ireland. I am currently living in Indonesia.
I have a bachelors degree (honours) in Journalism from Dublin City University, and a 120-hour TEFL certificate, a 30-hour Teaching Young Learners certificate, and a 30-hour Teaching Online certificate from the TEFL Institute of Ireland.
Recently, I worked as an English teacher in a private kindergarten in Hanoi, Vietnam, and in a public high school in Chonburi, Thailand. I have also worked as an online English tutor for the last two years.
Before becoming an English teacher I worked as a journalist in Dublin, Ireland.
My hobbies include travelling, music, cooking, muay thai and recently, latin dancing.
I'd like to help you with your pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. In my lessons we can focus on your own interests or study premade courses including basic/intermediate conversation topics, business and English for beginners (children welcome).
In my adult classes, my teaching style can be best described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I like it when my students to speak often in class, ask questions regularly, and participate in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence.
In my kids classes my teaching method is nurturing and supportive rather than competitive. I think children learn through fun and engaging activities like so I try to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible.
