I moved to Germany right after graduating from high school and stayed there for 6 years. I studied German for one year at the German school building in Goethe-Institut. I then studied fine art for five years at an art school in Southern Baden-Württemberg. I currently live in the Kanto region in Japan. I was born in Hiroshima prefecture.
I recently traveled back to Germany for the first time in a while, and I rediscovered the beauty and charm of the German language.
German is a difficult language, but I will explain it in a fun and attentive manner, while also introducing the Schwaben region of southern Germany and what daily life is like there.
If you are interested in art school, language study etc., please don’t hesitate to contact me. I can contact my acquaintances in the area and we can discuss about it together!
【Hobbies】
My hobby is, of course, admiring art.
I am currently learning about traditional Japanese painting on my own.
Watching movies
German movies are famous for being quite dark, but there are also interesting comedies and social satire movies.
【Other things I enjoy】
Music (I listen to Japanese music such as Queen Bee and Pascals, and Western music such as Bjork and anything else now).
Reading (I used to read Milan and Kundera in German for some reason. I read all kinds of Japanese literature and used to love Natsuki Ikezawa. Yoko Tawada also writes in German.)
Architecture (castles, modern architecture, churches, cemeteries, Germany has a lot of cemetery parks)
Traveling (I traveled all over Europe during my stay in Germany. I was impressed by Israel and Egypt. I really want to go back to India and Kenya.)
Gardening, Germans seem to be very particular about their gardens.
They have winter gardens and make sure they can be enjoyed even during the cold winter months. They often give fresh flowers as gifts. In my garden, lilies are about to bloom now. The white blossoms of the summer camellias are also beautiful.
Please feel free to ask me anything you are interested in. I look forward to meeting you in my lesson.
