Hello, My name is Miriam. I am in Cape Town, South Africa. I am self-motivated, well-spoken, flexible, hardworking young woman who completed a Master’s degree in Social development at University of Cape Town. I have been working as an Online English teacher for five years, responsible for teaching English to non-English speaking students online.
I am TEFL Certified. My classes comprised of students from the age of 8 and above. I have excellent communication skills and good organizational skills. I use communicative language and Interactive approach in my lessons. The methods emphasizes the student's ability to communicate in real life contexts. Students learn to make requests, accept offers, explain things and express their feelings and preferences.
My biggest strength is my ability to make the lessons fun and enjoyable. my pronunciation can be easily understood by students of all level, beginner, intermidiate and advanced.
