Japanese people often enjoy OHanami (cherry blossom viewing) in spring.♩ Although the cherry blossoms fall quickly because of the strong winds, Ohanami has been a favorite event for Japanese people since ancient times, where they enjoy feasting and drinking while watching the fluttering petals falling from the cherry trees. In this lesson, I will also share about the history of Ohanami and some of my recommendations on how to enjoy the cherry blossoms! I will also show you how to make the perfect sakura-colored raspberry cookies to bring to Ohanami. You will also learn how to decorate your cookies, such as dipping them in chocolate or making sandwich cookies.
