Hello, everyone!
I wanted to share an interesting picture with you. I like traditional "Blue Willow" pattern dishes, but my husband likes modern styles and video games. I was surprised to find this pattern, called "8-Bit Willow," which combines Blue Willow and Pokemon!
Unfortunately, these plates were "limited edition," so they're not being sold anymore. However, I think the pattern is a clever compromise between traditional and modern styles.
I hope you're having a good weekend, and I'm looking forward to talking with you in the future!
Thank you,

Wow!!! That's very nice! I am looking forward to seeing your rug in the near future! I guess the rug will be too big to be photographed in whole, though. Enjoy designing your rug!

Thanks, Sakochan! Well, I looked for Blue Willow rugs online, but I couldn't find one anywhere. So, I decided it would be fun to create one myself. At first, I thought it would be too expensive, but I found that "custom-printed rugs" are actually very cheap these days! So, I will probably create a JPG image and upload it to a custom-printing website, and they will create the rug. Of course, it won't be a nice wool rug, just polyester or some other cheap material, but I think it's a good alternative to buying a more expensive rug in a boring "solid color." If I ever find time to do the project, I'll show it to you! :)

Will you design your rug by yourself? And after design the rug, will you order it and have someone make the rug with the design for you? Oh, I guess it'll be a long story, so I look forward to hearing your answer in the next lesson!

Thanks, Nijinsky! I saw the Zelda pattern too, and I agree with you-- both patterns are awesome!

Thanks, Sakochan! Well, I was looking for images of the regular Blue Willow pattern, because I want to design a Blue Willow rug for my dining room. Mixed into the regular Blue Willow images, I found these "8-Bit Willow" designs. I thought, "That would be perfect for my husband!" However, they're not available anymore. That's OK though, since we have an old porcelain sink, and we tend to chip our dishes sometimes when we wash them, so. . . it's best not to have any expensive dishes! :)

I googled and find Zelda's version of dishes as well. Awesome!!
