study tips

Cecily G.

Dear students,

I'm a student, too. I'm preparing for final exams in the courses I'm taking now. Because of that, maybe I know how you feel studying English. My eyes get tired from looking at the computer screen, so I need to take breaks to refresh them. I set an alarm on my phone for 20 minutes, because I heard you should take a break from looking at the screen every 20 minutes. I get up and move around, and maybe rest a little. I found that makes studying a little better. If you feel frustrated with studying, or tired, perhaps you can trying setting an alarm on your phone for 20 minutes. Then the studying is broken down into chunks and may not seem as bad. You may also feel more accomplished when you realize how many 20 minutes chunks you've spent studying!

Best wishes on your learning,
Cecily
