Today, I'm going to talk about 'learning English'.
Would you like to learn English with a teacher whose native language is English or a teacher whose native language is the same as yours?
I would rather learn English with a teacher whose native language is English if I were an advanced learner. The reason is that such advanced learners need to get used to using the language as the English native speakers do.
However, if I were from a beginner to intermediate level of learning English, I prefer learning it with a teacher whose native language is the same as mine. Because I do not have enough vocabularies, grammar knowledge and so on in the beginning, I cannot communicate well with such native English teachers.
In addition, if beginners can learn English with a teacher whose native language is the same as theirs, they can understand the meanings of words, grammar knowledge and the usage deeply and easily. I think that it is not so bad for such language learners to learn English with using their mother tongue.
Moreover, you have more merits to learn English with teachers whose native language is the same as you. Such teachers have known some difficulties with learning English because they have a lot of mistakes and experiences to master English language. You can get such useful information as well.
Even if you are lucky to meet such good teachers, you should continue studying basic English language such as memorising vocabularies, grammar, and pronunciation by yourself every day. It might be a good idea to learn English with your friends and family rather than by your own and try listening several English learning materials which you're interested in.
All you have to do is to learn English every day, practise using English as much as possible in your daily life, last but not least, and have fun!
See you next time!
Have a good day.
