Kid's books: Best book for fall! (upper intermediate level read)

Savannah W

If you've read my other tutor blogs, you know fall is my favorite season!

There is a cute story book that is perfect for fall. It's called "Fletcher and the Falling Leaves" by Julia Rawlinson and Tiphanie Beeke.

I chose to read it because my step-dad's last name is Fletcher, but that's not why I love it!

This is a beautifully illustrated story about a fox, Fletcher, who has a favorite tree. He struggles with the tree going through it's seasonal changes. He doesn't understand why the tree is changing as the world shifts from summer to winter. It's a good way to teach children about dealing with changes, even if you don't like them or don't understand them!

If you need to pick an English book for your kids, why not try this one?

Now, children's books can have difficult grammar! So, even if you are an adult, you might learn some new grammar and vocabulary from it, too. It's good study practice for both you and your children!
