There are proven benefits of listening to music while studying, but it has to be the right kind of music. Research has shown that music can help you focus , concentrate , relax, feel motivated , improve memory and make the process much more enjoyable.



Benefits of listening to music whilst studying:

1) Music helps you study 
Music allows you to keep studying for a long duration of time. Playing music for subjects less inspiring can make it more interesting adding endurance to your motivation in order to studying efficiently.

2) Music helps you focus
Music activates both the left and right brain at the same time, and the activation of both hemispheres can maximize learning and improve memory

3) Music helps you concentrate 
Music helps reduce anxiety and process emotions in a healthy way. This leaves your brain free to concentrate what you're doing, rather plagued by worries and trying to sort through your feelings.

4) Music affects academic performance
Studying can be extremely stresful and excessive anxiety can hinder learning and memory consolidation. The right choice of music, such  as instrumental or ambient music can help block out distractions, improve concentration and maintain attention during study session.

Art can have a significant, positive influence on us. Listenig to music, especially, can have therapeutic effects on mental health. You can use art as a way to deal with many problems you have. This is why art therapy is increasingly popular. This sense of pride that comes with art therapy can helop you stay motivated when studying.
