Before the Lesson

♦ I will also send you some questions to find out more about your goals.
♦ After you respond, I will plan a unique lesson based on your answers.

During the Lesson
♦ We will plan to speak English only.
♦ You may write to me in your language if you have trouble.
♦ I will be happy to use translation software to answer.
♦ Here is our class schedule!

⸙ We will talk or write about it together.
2. Reading and Listening Practice
⸙ I will read the poem aloud to you.
⸙ You will read the poem aloud to me.
⸙ We may also read information about the poem silently, as needed.
⸙ We can talk about how to improve pronunciation or expression.
3. Writing Practice
⸙ I will give you a writing assignment to match your knowledge of English.
⸙ You may choose to write your poem with my help or at home.
4. Discussion
⸙ We can proofread and edit your writing together.
⸙ Or we can have deeper speaking practice about literature.
5. Free Conversation
⸙ We may continue talking if time allows.
After the Lesson

♦ I will give homework if you ask.
♦ Please think about taking the lesson again and writing another poem.
