Classroom activity adapted for online to practice the 4 skills: Reading, writing, listening & Speaking. Don't worry, there's no running!
Kursinhalt
In a classroom situation, the students would be running all around the room and even outside the room! Don't worry, you won't need to leave your chair!
Normally, pieces of a conversaton would be stuck around the walls of the classroom (post-it notes for example) or sometimes outside of the classroom. Students go and read one of the pieces of conversation, memorise it and then return to their desk to tell their parter what the sentence was, and their partner has to write it down. For online learning, your partner is teacher Ian! Furthermore, the pieces of conversation will be on your screen. They will disappear though, so you'll have to memorise them and write down what you can remember. Oh, I've been a teacher for a long time, so I'll know if you're trying to cheat! You can't take photos with your phone, ok!?
One more problem I forgot to tell you about. I mixed up all the pieces of conversation so the story doesn't make any sense. That's your final job - you have to unscramble to conversation so it's in the correct order and it makes sense!
At the end, I'll give you the correct solution, so you can check how you did.
It's a fun way of practicing all four core skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. If your brave and you want to try, let me know!
