What do you want to study during your English classes?

Let's Start Your English Journey
This lesson will focus on you and I getting to know each other but most importantly I would like to start by assessing what your goal is with your English learning. The class structure will be as follows:
- Warm up activity - the student introduces themselves in English and we will review this introduction at the end of the task. (approx 5 mins)
You can then choose from the following:
- Listening activity - I will play you a short clip from a pop or rock song twice. After the second time, I will ask the student a series of short questions about the song. Any questions the students has at the end of the song regarding vocabulary, will be answered. (10 mins approx)
OR
- Reading activity - A short piece of text will be shown to the student, I will ask the student to read this to me aloud. Following this, I will ask the student a set of comprehension questions and we will go through the answers together. (10 mins approx)
Finishing the Lesson
- Conversation - The student and I will practice reading a dialogue (those students with higher levels will improvise a situation), which will be based on going to the shops, ordering at a restaurant, debating a topic etc. This dialogue or conversation will be based on your current level of English, so please do not worry if you are unsure about what to say. I will help you with this throughout the task. (5 mins approx)
- Any further questions...? - A chance for the student to ask me any further questions they have. (5 mins approx depending on remaining time)
