What is Cross Culture relations?
This course is a combination of critical thinking, feeling, reacting, and problem-solving situations on a global stage. I'll give you the ability to acknowledge different cultures, styles of communication, practices, customs, and views on roles and relationships in different global settings.
We will be taking a deeper look into the complex systems surrounding interconnected government and political systems that include development, poverty, power and war.
Why do certain countries develop faster than others? What happened to previous empires and where do we go from here?

Why would this be important?
Because culturally competent people, who understand how to navigate cultural differences, makes communities of people more productive and successful.
It's a fact.
Here's some of what we'll cover:
- Biases: What are they, how we each have them and what to do when we encounter them overseas
- Poverty: Learn about the different forms of poverty found in different nations and how they're combating them
- Power: Power comes in many shapes and forms. How do different international agents use them to get what they need?
- Development: How is the rise of growing economies and organizations shaking up the old world order?
- Global Marketplace: How are developing nations adapting their markets to meet global needs?
- International Trends: How are some countries combating the pandemic crisis and why are some doing better than others?
- Country-specific development in: South Africa, India, China, Philippines and more!
