日本人小説家の短編小説を読んで、理解し、話し合いましょう。
短編小説なのでページ数も少なく、好きな短編を選べます。（この本一冊の購入が必要です）

＊最後までこのレッスン紹介を読んでください。
このレッスンで使う本「素敵な日本人」は、数々の賞を受けている小説家東野圭吾さん (後述＊著者紹介 参照) ９編 の短編ミステリ集です。
本のタイトルが「素敵な日本人」ですが、本の内容からしてこの意味は少なくとも日本人を美化したり日本をアピールすることではないと思います。本のタイトルと各編との関係性は、私の中では今も想像の域を出ないままで、それこそミステリです。
＜私がこの本を選んだ理由＞ (後述＜各編のタイトル＞ 参照)
・各編のページ数が３０～４０ページ(全部約３２５ページ)で日本語学習にも取り組みやすい
・好きな編だけ選べること
・三つの短編ではミステリと日本の伝統的行事も同時に楽しめること
・９編のミステリの種類が異なっていて、違うミステリが楽しめること
それぞれの話が関連付けされていないので、好きな物語だけを選んで読むこともできます。

・目安：１編を１～４レッスンの間で終わらせる。
・もちろん進み具合によっては５レッスン以上になっても問題ありません。（後述＜レッスンの流れ ５０分＞参照）
