How did humans domesticate cats?
Is it true that cat's haven't been domesticated? We'll watch a short video about the history of cats and humans and discuss how important our feline little friends are for us.
Detalles de la lección
Original lesson based on the article "a brief history of house cats" published on the Smithsonian Magazine on 2007. Lesson starts with a discussion about pets. Afterwards, students work on the meaning of keywords through context (breed, domesticate, etc.). Afterwards, students watch a short video answering the question "is it true that cat's haven't been domesticated?" After a short discussion, we play a matching game with vocabulary related to stray and feral cats. After watching a short video on that topic, student and teacher share their reality on the matter.
