Hello!
I am a Korean tutor from Seoul, and I have been living in Japan for 22 years (as of 2024).
I worked for an IT-related company in Tokyo.
I currently live in a rural area and teach Korean as a freelancer at municipalities and high schools.
I have experience working for both Korean and Japanese companies, so I can also help with business conversation and translation as well.
For students who are studying Korean, or Korean speakers who are studying Japanese, I can offer explanation in your native language (Korean or Japanese) in a manner that is easy to understand for those who are not used to speaking to native speakers and feel intimidated.
I enjoy playing basketball, watching TV dramas, and films.
【About My Lessons】
I have three main focuses when teaching.
1. Understanding the structure and mechanics of grammar.
Rather than difficult and lengthy explanations, my lessons focus on composition and conversation to familiarise students with grammar in a more natural way.
2. Practicing native-like pronunciation and intonation.
I will correct your pronunciation by helping you imitate how I say it. (I will teach you tips and tricks to help you overcome any struggles you might have with pronunciation.)
3. Q&A
Talk about any questions you have about learning methods, culture, customs, etc.
Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have any questions or concerns.
I look forward to meeting you!
