I believe the best way to learn a foreign language is through your hobbies and interests. I like to use native materials as much as possible, and I'm happy to tailor lessons to students' hobbies and goals. I like students to relax and speak freely without worrying about mistakes.
You can study through a variety of topics, from hobbies to pop culture to professional subjects like business and medicine. Don't see a subject you like? Make a request, and I'll try to make you a custom lesson. Let's have fun with English!

More About Me
I have a bachelor's degree in International Studies and a master's degree in Mass Communications: Web Design. I recently moved to Sapporo where I work as a web designer/developer, as well as some game design. I love video games and board games; sci-fi, fantasy, and horror; and making sweets.
Experience and Qualifications
I've been teaching and tutoring for over fifteen years. I've taught students as young as two years old and as old as sixty. I taught high school English in Akita for two years and ran a special workshop for students applying to English-speaking universities. I've interned at a Japanese elementary school, volunteered at a Japanese preschool, and privately tutored university students and working adults. I have a 300-hour TEFL certification with specializations in Business English and One-to-One/Online teaching.
I also teach private lessons on graphic design and web development. I have been building websites and creating digital art since the early 2000s, and I received my master's degree in 2021.
