<Information on Reopening Bookings from New Students>
I have not been accepting lesosn requests from new students for a long time, but I am pleased to announce that I have resumed accepting lesson requests from new students in July. Thank you for your cooperation.

It’s nice to meet all of you! Hello! 大家好!

My name is Ichinosuke and I have been working in mainland China for 8 years. I am a native of Fukuoka/Hakata, who prefers to eat dāoxiāo-miàn and tantan-men instead of tonkotsu-ramen.

I would be delighted to help you learn Chinese and Japanese.

I often hear Japanese speakers mention that “Chinese is easy to read but difficult to pronounce.” Indeed! Pronunciation is very important in Chinese. However, if you think that just because you can speak Japanese, you can read and write Chinese characters, you might want to rethink that. For example, what do you think the kanji “外人” means in Chinese? You might think it means “foreigner,” right? In fact, this kanji means “outsider” or “stranger.” So, if you want to say, “My husband is a foreigner,” and you say, “我的丈夫是外人,” you will end up saying a weird sentence............

As you can see, there are many unique points in Chinese that Japanese speakers tend to make mistakes in. In our lessons, I hope that you will learn and enjoy the grammar and phrases that Japanese speakers often confuse, as well as funny stories that I experinced in China.

Although I use different materials for each type of lesson, I can of course change the materials to suit your needs, so please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any requests or suggesions~
