Hello everyone. I'm Rina.
I teach English and Japanese.
I was born and raised in Japan and I spent my university days in the United States.
I graduated from a university in California.
I decided to study abroad because I wanted to go overseas and I thought it'd be cool if I can speak English. However, when I actually started living in the States, I couldn't speak any English at all in the beginning and I couldn't understand anything in English.
Nonetheless, as I had great interest in English, even though I didn't understand anything, I started imitating English phrases that I've heard and I started using the phrases. Because of this, I started to understand English little by little, I was able to get my messages across, I was able to study in English, I lived in a society where English was the only language used, and I managed to graduate from a university in the U.S.
Learning a language isn't easy.
But
I feel it's very fun and interesting to learn a new language and culture.
On top of that, I
feel excited if I can use the new phrases I've learned to get my messages across. I think language is one of the tools to get to know each other and to understand yourself. It's like when you buy a new item, you'd want to try it, right? Language is the same. When you learn a new phrase, you'd want to try using it. When you use it, it is a
happy and a
fun thing.
Furthermore, when you meet people from different countries, when you get to know each other, when you broaden your horizons, it is
really exciting and fun.
I hope you'll also have a
happy, fun, thrilling, and exciting experience learning English. Moreover, if my efforts can
bring joy to your life, I'll be happy too. (*´▽`*)
I've been teaching English since 2012.
I put a lot of effort to make the lessons vibrant and fun for the students so they can
enjoy learning English and Japanese.
I have the experience of teaching English to students from 3 to 60.
From kids to adults, I make the lessons based on each individual's age and their English/Japanese level.
It is important to memorize vocabulary and grammar, but if you don't use them, you won't know how they are used.
Try to use the English words and phrases you've learned as much as possible ☆
Let's
enjoy using English and Japanese in the lessons!ヾ(*´∀`*)ノ
