Hello! Olá! Ciao! こんにちは

My name is Joel, I'm a tutor from Brazil who is deeply passionate about language and history, as well as getting in touch with different cultures. I believe that learning a different language can have a profound impact in the way you see the world, and being able to share ideas with people from all over the world can be an incredible experience that is only possible through language learning.

I am, therefore, eager to share my experience and all I have lerned through all these years so that you too can have the opportunity to have experiences like these. 

About me

Born and raised in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, I have always been curious about the world, and wanted to know more about other cultures and nations, thus I graduated with a bachelor's degree in international relations at the University of Brasilia, where I had unforgettable experiences and also discovered my passion for languages, starting to learn Japanese and Italian and delving into the world of linguistics.

I've been teaching online language classes for a local school for the last couple years. I came to Cafetalk hoping to find students from different places around the world who are eager to learn a new language and take part in a meaningful experience of cultural exchange.

About my lessons

In my classes I make sure to prioritize the student's needs, taking extra care to tackle the points each student might strugle with, as well as structuring the classes around their individual interests in order to keep them always motivated and eager to learn more.

Regardless of what you want to learn, you are invited to a free "Introduction and counseling" lesson, where we can get to know each other and I can recommend the lesson that is most suitable to your situation.
