Hi everyone, This is Shawn! 
はじめまして！ショーンと申します。
A Bilingual Japanese who grew up in the United States.　
アメリカ育ちの日本人です！

TOEFL iBT 112、英検準１級です。

After studying at college in Japan and the USA, I spent about 15 years providing international legal advice and translation services between Japanese and English for a law firm and a foreign company.
東京とアメリカの大学卒業後、約15年間、国際的な法律のアドバイスや、日本と英語の翻訳業務を法律事務所と外資企業でしてきました。

I decided to put some of this experience to use and help foreigners studying Japanese and Japanese studying English!
この経験を少しでも活かし、日本語を勉強している外国人の方や、英語を勉強している日本人の方のお手伝いがしたいと思いました！

My hobby is backpacking, cycling, singing and composing music (currently learning DAW and Jazz Piano).
趣味はバックパッカー、サイクリング、歌、作曲（現在はDAWとジャズピアノを勉強中）。
 
Sometimes doing some bicycle delivery in Tokyo for UberEats for exercise. lol
See myself as a multi-task/hobby person.
運動がてら、Uber Eatsの自転車配達員もしています笑　多趣味だと思います。

Belive the secret to improving your language skills is to immerse yourself in both Japanese and English for a certain period of time. Also, enjoying conversation is the most important motivation to continue learning!
短期集中で日本語と英語にどっぷりつかることが語学力向上の秘訣だと思います。あと、会話を楽しむことが何よりの継続の秘訣です！

英語と日本語のレッスンについて

My style is to have fun talking as much as possible ;)　Grammar is important, but if you are too concerned about the details, it'll take sometime to improve. Broken-English/Japanese is fine and having fun is the best! Please tell me a lot about yourself in English/Japanese!
私のスタイルは、とにかく楽しくお話をすることにつきます！　文法も大事ですが、あまりに細かい点を気にしていると、英語も日本語もなかなか上達しません。くだけた英語/日本語で大丈夫ですし、楽しいのが一番です！みなさんのこと、英語/日本語でたくさんお話ししてください！
