I have over 11 years of experience teaching in the classroom, tutoring, and online.  I have taught English, grammar, writing, science, mathematics, social studies, politics, economics, and chess in four different countries. My most recent job was as a homeroom teacher in an elementary school. 

I believe that classes should be exciting and fun but rigorous and demanding. Nine years working in the Republic of China has given me plenty of respect for the idea that students should be pushed hard and that I should have high expectations of them, but it has also given me the chance to create a variety of games and activities that make learning fun.  

I have made plenty of games and activities for students, I have even written several books to help personalize my students' learning experience. I have programmed a few English 'games' and started a YouTube channel to help my students during lockdown. 

I have endless time for excellent students and still keep in touch with many ex-students.  I feel sure that we can progress your learning together.
