My Background:
- Hi! I'm so glad to have you here! My name's Shahab, and I speak English with a standard, native, American accent. For more than 12 years, I've helped adult learners find confidence when using English for their daily lives, jobs, studies, or for business. I have also helped teams of teachers as a trainer, supervisor, and education manager to run amazing courses. I'm very eager to meet you and help you, too!
- I'm TESOL-certified and have a bachelor's in English language and literature and a master's in teaching English as a foreign language.
- Learning and teaching English has been a huge part of my life. I love it when people share their cultures and life stories, and I believe English makes that possible for everybody!
- I'm really friendly and very patient, and I encourage my students to make a lot of mistakes! That's how I know what to focus on when teaching, so you can improve in any area you need, such as speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation.
- Your experience will be totally learner-centered, with really helpful feedback. Also, I'm a good listener, so my students can relax and talk when they want to share anything with me.
