I have been an English tutor for 20 years. I’ve helped many people, from absolute beginners, elementary school students, to seniors. I’ve taught simple, useful and fun middle school level English to people who “Can’t bring themselves to speak English when they need to” or who “simply can’t get any word out of their mouth” so that they can communicate easier.
Do you have any of these concerns?
● I don't know where to start.
● I can't form sentences when it comes to speaking.
● I'm not good at grammar, but I want to be able to speak English.1
● I can't speak English even though I'm at Level 3, pre-2 or 2 of the EIKEN and over 500 on the TOEIC.
If you've tried to learn on your own using youtube, apps, books, etc., but you're not sure how to go further;
◎Beginner to Intermediate (preparation before taking lessons with a native teacher)
◎Original program with tips and tricks for speaking
◎Build a solid foundation of speaking skills
I’ll give my best to make you feel that “it’s much easier to speak than you thought”.
If you want to be able to speak English easily at work, when travelling abroad, as an expatriate wife, or as a hobby, I can help you.
If you are completely new to English conversations, a beginner, don’t worry if you make mistakes! I will help you improve from just stringing words together and practice speaking and grammar at the same time, so that you can express yourself and your feelings in short but grammatically correct sentences.
If you are at Level 3 or pre-2 of the EIKEN, or have a TOEIC score of 500 or above, but you still have difficulties in speaking, learn to speak simply and naturally, including natural conversation reactions.
If you don't have confidence in your English grammar, or have forgotten it, I can help you to learn it again from junior high school grammar, so that you can learn how to speak English smoothly and easily.

The lessons are based on my original teaching materials, which include a wide range of useful phrases, tips on how to speak with your own words, and paraphrasing techniques, so that you can lower your barriers to learnEnglish and enjoy communicating more easily.
Instead of thinking that speaking is difficult and that you have to learn lots of words, you will realize that you can speak in simple English!
★ For beginners to pre-intermediate,
I recommend the course "English Conversation in 3 Words". This is a 10-lesson (basic) program where I will teach you how to express yourself, your feelings, and your surroundings in short sentences at your own pace, while reviewing grammar and conversation at the same time. → [Click here to see the lesson content].
★ For pre-intermediate to intermediate,
I recommend the "Phrases you can use in ‘instant’ English + speaking practice with exercises".
It's not a bestseller (blue book), it has real-life phrases that you can normally use. With practice, you will be able to group and organize essential phrases and put them back into your "drawer" so that you can use them quickly and easily, and at the same time build up a circuit of English speaking skills so that you can use them with confidence. → [Click here to see the lesson content].
★Based on the English Grammar for Speaking series and Mr. Yasukouchi's introductory grammar books, “English Grammar Lessons” is designed to help adults relearn, junior and senior high school students, returnees, and others as well. I'm going to explain it in an easy-to-understand way.

★For international schools, local schools overseas, Japanese schools and returnee students,
I can help with Japanese English grammar and Eiken preparation. As a former expatriate wife who has experienced local schools, supplementary schools, Japanese schools, and junior high and high school returnee W exams as a parent, if there is anything I can do to help you, please feel free to book a consultation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
→ [For interns, local schools, expatriates and expatriate wives].
Having lived in the UK and the US for 10 years, I can provide you with tips and ideas on how to communicate well, how to get your message across, how to express yourself in an adult manner and how to speak, in a way that will help you achieve your personal goals.
Learning a language is more fun when you know the background, culture and customs. If you are interested in the British class system, the Royal Family, tea, B&B, musicals, American dramas, films, various social issues, vegetarian and vegan topics, etc., I will be happy to talk with you!
The lessons can be customized to include listening, reading and pronunciation.

【About the teacher】
I studied English Language and Literature at university and used English at work, but then I went to live in London and experienced a lot of frustration when I couldn't say what I wanted to say, so I further learnt to speak English with a new mind.
My hobbies include travelling, yoga, cooking, eating out and recently watching American dramas.
While living abroad, I learned how to cook Thanksgiving turkey and other dishes in the oven, and how to cook Californian dishes.
I've also made my own Japanese sweets and sponge cakes, which were not available to buy but I really wanted to try.
I have been to Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye (Scotland) in the north, the Canary Islands (Spain) in the west, and the Republic of Vanuatu in the south. I have travelled to 20 countries in Europe, America and Asia, including Vanuatu in the south.
When I travel, I like to take pictures of the ordinary things that happen on the streets.
