Hello, my name is Lay (レイ).
I speak Japanese, French, and English.
The most important things to learn a language are "to have fun", "to practice", and "to persist".
The fun of a foreign language depends on how each individual sees it, but there is great joy when one "learns new things", "gets the message across", and "reaches the goal!"
Among them, there are people that continue to achieve their goals and through the process, they're also able to gain confidence.
English is a language that every primary school student will learn from now on.
If kids can acquire listening skills before they become primary school students, they will be able to learn English with confidence.
French
I started learning French by myself and the first time I spoke French to someone was on the flight to France. Upon arrival, when I heard the taxi driver say "Rouen" in the authentic French accent, I noticed that the pronunciation for "R" and "en" were so strong and I was beyond excited. From the beginning, my host family praised me for my good pronunciation. I can talk like a native speaker.
The reason for me to learn French was the drive that I wanted to speak French.
This fact has not changed even now, as I love the French pronunciation and the word orders more than anyone else.
I've been learning French and from a Japanese person's perspectives, I can tell you the differences in pronunciation and feeling.
【French】The Japanese language and the French language have completely different sounds and mouth movements. It's the same when a French person speaks Japanese like a Japanese person with a different mouth movement.
It is said that when speaking French, you use about 30~50% of your facial muscles while you use about 20% when speaking Japanese. It's as if you need to use your muscles to do a headstand, you need to use your facial muscles if you want to speak beautiful French!
If you keep that in mind, you'll be able to sound like a native French speaker. Of course, once you get used to it, you'll be able to speak French fluently! I like French more than anyone else and I hope I can help you with French pronunciation.
English (for kids)
I have the experience of teaching English to students from the ages of 1~14 for three years.
I started having interest in languages when I was a student and even now I still do.
I offer fun English lessons for kids that want to start learning because they like English and for kids that are new to English.
