ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, nice to meet you.
My name is Santina and I’m from Sicily, Italy.
After living 3 years in Tokyo, I moved back to Italy and currently I’m working as Japanese language teacher in a private school.
My main interests are art, japanese culture and travel.
I lived 10 years in Florence where I studied Art history and I worked in some of the most visited museums of the city.
Currently I enjoy to write articles for social media and blog to allow Italian people to know more about Japanese traditions and culture.
ABOUT MY JOB
In Japan I used to work as Italian language teacher.
I mainly taught adult learners from beginner to advanced level.
I believe any student has different learning method, so I always try to adapt my lessons to student needs, trying to create a good balance between grammar, listening and conversation.
No matter your level, feel free to contact me expressing your goal and your needs. I’m sure we can find together the best solution for you.
I also worked as private business Italian tutor for Japanese companies.
If you are interested, I can help you explaining Italian business manners and formal language, or assisting you with speech or presentations.
I majored in Art history so I can help you if you are thinking to plan a trip in Italy in the future (useful sentences to travel in Italy, recommend place to visit and their history, Italian traditions…).
I’m looking forward to studying with you!
