PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Hi Everyone. I’m Anna.

I am half Japanese and half Spanish. I was born in the UK but have lived in many different countries - UK, USA, Venezuela, Germany, Japan and now in Greece. I speak English, German, Spanish and some Japanese.

 

So, I know very well the joys and rewards of learning a foreign language which opens many doors and expands horizons in your carrier and your life. I hope you can achieve the same through my English lessons.

 

I hold International Baccalaureate Diploma, BA Fine Art Sculpture from University of Brighton (UK) and MA Sculpture from Royal College of Fine Art in London.   


I taught many 1-to-1 lessons at Gaba language school in Tokyo during my 2-year stay in Japan three years ago.  My students were businessmen/women, housewives and high school students.  I also taught private lessons to Japanese people in London.  During my stay in Japan, I have also held various art workshops.  I have experience of teaching elementary school students in Ghana for three weeks.


In my free time I enjoy going to museums, art galleries, going running and playing football (soccer).  I love all the foods from many different cultures.

こんにちは。アンナです。

 

母は日本人、父はスペイン人のハーフ、イギリス生まれです。現在はギリシャに住んでいますが、イギリス、米国、ベネズエラ、ドイツで育ちました。また日本にも住んだ経験があります。英語以外にドイツ語、スペイン語、日本語（少し）も話せます。

イギリスのACSインターナショナルスクールにて国際バカロレア資格（IB Diploma）取得。ブライトン大学芸術学部造形科卒業。イギリスロンドンにある国立芸術大学Royal College of Fine Artにて修士号を取得しています。


色々な国に移り住み様々な文化と接触してきた私の経験からすると、外国語習得は仕事にも役立ち、人生の視野が広がり楽しみも増えます。皆さんにもその喜びが得られるような英会話レッスンを目指しています。

 

日本での２年間滞在中には東京でGaba英会話スクールにて、会社員、主婦の方、高校生など様々な生徒対象にマンツーマンレッスン講師をしていました。また、滞在中にはアートのクラスも開催。ロンドンでも日本人の生徒に英会話を教えていました。

 

時間がある時には、美術館やギャラリーに行ったりジョギングあるいはサッカーをしたりしています。色々な国の料理を体験するのも大好きです。

 



TEACHING STYLE

My lessons will be personalised to your needs.  

 

Based on your level of English and what you want to learn and improve, I will plan and structure my lessons and prepare learning materials just for you. My lessons will be designed for you to enjoy learning and improve English conversion.

 

At the end of each lesson I will give you lesson feedback and go over new words, phrases, vocabulary and grammar you learned. You will also receive all the key learning points of the lesson by email right after the lesson so that you can review them after the lesson to enhance your learning.  

 

I can teach business English or casual conversation English. My lessons will be always fun.  Since I have lived in both the US and UK I can also help you with different accents and specific words or phrases that are specific to each country.  

 

あなたの英会話レベルまた習いたい内容に応じて一人ひとりにあった楽しく学びながら上達できるレッスンを目指しています。また、レッスン内容に応じた教材も用意します。レッスンの終わりには毎回、会話の中で学んだ新しい単語、言い回し、文法などを再度復習し、レッスン終了後に、自宅で再度復習できるようにメールにて新しく学んだ内容をお送りします。

 

ビジネス英会話、日常英会話どちらも可能です。また、イギリス、アメリカ両国に住んでいたので、国特有のアクセントまた単語や言い回しもレッスンに取り入れられます。
