Hi Everyone!
My name is Hana and I am Japanese-American. I was born and raised in Texas! Then went to Japan, Osaka University of Arts for college.
I spoke Japanese at home and English outside, and also attended Japanese school once a week on Saturdays. This is how I was able to maintain both my English and Japanese. So I completely understand if you are a Japanese expat or American/English expat the difficulty of blancing the 2 languages, especially with kids as well!
I started teaching English and Japanese in 2017. I have taught many people of all ages from 6 years to 60 years old. Whether they are new to English or Japanese I create a personal program for each and everyone of my students. For those looking to learn Japanese for the first time, restart again or advance it into a career or more I am here for you!
I also have a strong passion for Acting and Singing. My major at Osaka University of Arts was Musical Theater. I currently am still following this passion. I have also helped many students, with translating and pronounciation skills for English songs/text for Musicals/Plays/Filmsetc....
I am here to help with any questions you may have culturally U.S. vs. Japan, Singing, Acting, and language help.
In my lessons, I hope to give you the tools and confidence to excel in any skill you wish to become better in! Beginners are welcome!! My classes are a no judgement space! See you soon!!
