Hello everyone! Welcome to my profile! Here are some quick facts about me:
• My name is Dorothy,a certified TESL tutor born and raised speaking English.
• I am originally from Uganda.I have visited Japan and stayed there for some months so I speak a little Japanese and I speak a little German because I studied German in High School.
• I enjoy traveling, making friends, eating, reading, watching movies, listening to music, singing and dancing.
• I customize your lessons according to your interests.
• Students of all ages are welcome!
• I graduated with a "Bachelor's Degree of Arts with Education in English and Literature". I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Mental Health.
• I have experience tutoring high school students in subjects such as English and Literature, enthusiastically reading to elementary and middle school children, and sharing my passion for learning with everyone.
• Student-centered methodology - the lessons will be made to fit your needs exactly
• We will work together systematically to make step by step progress
•I like to make learning fun. I am patient - I’m learning Japanese so I know how it feels to be a language learner!
I like to get to know my students and their goals first. That way I can confidently lead them to improve their English language skills in a way that best suits them and teach them things they will actually use in their daily life.
