Let me start by introducing myself...

Annyeonghaseyo?
I’m Sunhye.S, a Zainichi Korean born and raised in Japan.
Please feel free to call me “Sunhye Sensei (Teacher Sunhye)” in your lessons.
I have lived along side the Korean language from my childhood throughout college.

About my teaching experience

I started teaching in 2011.

At first, I started teaching Korean language courses for local residents as a way to put my Korean language knowledge from my student days to good use.

As I continued working as a tutor over the years, I have also continued to improve myself, in hope of offering Korean language programs tailored to each student’s individual needs.
I became independent in 2012, and have experience giving offline Hangul lessons and Hangul courses at community centers for local residents.
From 2019 to 2021, I have been working as an instructor, being assigned to teach courses to prepare for the TOPIK examinations.
Lately, because of the pandemic, I have started offering online courses as well.

My recent interests

I watch K-dramas from time to time and use them to help me build a conversation with my students.

I would like to continue doing my best while being thankful to everyone I have had the chance to meet through the Korean language.

My personal interests include drawing, playing the piano, singing, walking, and practicing yoga.
