Hajimemasite.
I’m Claire.
(Korean name EUNSOOK ) I have Korean Language Teacher Qualification & TESOL certified. Also I have both a bachelor's degree in Korean literature and English literature.
Korean & English tutoring experience over 10 yrs. Effective goal-oriented classes, personalized your course, A lot of students achieve desired results after learning with me.
I teach through Zoom, and I prepare lessons according to the students through PPT, and the contents are diverse, such as daily life, travel, grammar, the contents are diverse, news of a student's favorite actor or singer, K-pop news, K-drama articles, K-pop song lyrics. The PPT screen is shared with students and the class is conducted as if talking.
It is not a class where I speak alone, but it is my class goal to have a class where students can talk and think as much as possible.
The most important thing in learning Korean is vocabulary, just like any other language. Vocabulary must be built up to be able to speak, listen, write, and read.
Unless you are in a hurry to study short sentences for a trip, you need to build up your vocabulary before you can move on to the next level.
Then listen a lot and talk a lot. In the same principle, you need a lot of input to build your skills. And once you have reached a certain level of skill, the next step depends on your ability.
Some are good at speaking, some are good at reading, and some are good at listening.
Unless you are a student facing an exam, what interests you is what should be the goal or content of your language learning.
All of my classes will be followed up with feedback and assignments. I am a patient person who enjoys learning and teaching at the same time.
I'm sure I will definitely be helpful in your Korean learning. I hope to see you in class.
